Wherryman's Way

The Wherryman's Way is a 37 mile long walking trail in the Yare Valley.

It runs between Norwich Railway Station and Great Yarmouth Railway Station, using footpaths and quiet lanes within the Broads National Park. This route provides a fantastic way to experience the Broads, following the trading route of the historic Norfolk wherries. The wherry, a large cargo-carrying barge whose elegant black sails, was a once common sight on these waters.

The Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland. You will pass through many RSPB sites and other nature reserves as well as riverside villages.

The baggage transfer service on this route can run in either direction.
