Angles Way

For 93 miles, this route follows the Waveney valley, meandering between Great Yarmouth and Thetford along the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

After leaving Great Yarmouth, the route follows the tidal expanse of Breydon Water and along the river Waveney. It passes through the ancient market towns of Beccles, Bungay, Harleston and Diss before finishing in Thetford.

This route was devised by the Ramblers' Association and follows the Norfolk/Suffolk border. In 2003, Waterscape.com voted the Angles Way the best waterside walk in Britain.

The baggage transfer service on this route runs from east to west (Great Yarmouth to Thetford).
